Rooms and Rates

Our guest quarters are completely separate from the main residence, with a private entrance and your own key to come and go as you wish.

The Papa Bear Room...

This room and ensuite have been newly redecorated. They now feature two new beds — a 4-poster queen, and a wrought iron double. There's also walkout to the grounds and the river. Ideal if you're fishing!

Rates:
Single occupancy: $145
Double occupancy: $175
Extra person: add $30 (Maximum occupancy: 4)

Returning guests receive the Single occupancy rate.
Stay more than three nights and receive a 15% discount.

The Mama Bear Room...

Also newly redecorated with two new iron beds from Wesley Allen. Mama bear has a double and a single bed, with an ensuite washroom with shower.

The Baby Bear Room...

This room and washroom have undergone a complete renovation in 2010. Washroom features a walk-in shower with rain head, radiant heated floors and heat lamp. Private washroom is located directly across from the bedroom. Click on the photos for a larger view.

While you're here...

you'll have exclusive access to the Guest Kitchen located on the main level, with fridge, microwave, coffee and tea, and dishes and cutlery for light eating-in. Here you'll also find a selection of local restaurant menus and area maps. 

Downstairs, you'll find the air-conditioned guest rooms, each with a magnificent river view. Also on the ground floor is the "Chart Room", with pool table, dart board, upright piano, wood stove and walk-out to a deck and the grounds. This is also where you'll find a guest computer, and ethernet hookup for your laptop. Wireless hi-speed is also available throughout the home.

There are hammocks on the grounds, and a fire pit by the river for late evening relaxation.

When the time comes to leave, we accept payment by cash, traveller's cheques, Visa or Mastercard. Personal cheques drawn on a Canadian bank are also accepted.

All rates are quoted in Canadian dollars. Please add $30 for each extra person when more than two people are sharing.

Please note that we require a minimum 2-night booking for weekends in July and August, as well as all long weekends throughout the year.

Smoking is NOT permitted anywhere on the premises. If you enjoy a butt or a Cuban cigar, you'll need to go down to the river or up to the road. We're sorry, but if we smell smoke in the house, we will establish the source, and if that's you, you may be asked to leave.

We are an adult-oriented property, and unfortunately, are not well suited to young children. We have no pets in residence, and cannot accept visitors with pets. Working dogs for the visually impaired are excepted.
